The fair curve
Points scale with a skill's authority, but not in a straight line. Small skills clear a floor, so a new or niche skill still earns something worth having. Large skills get compressed toward a cap, so a handful of giants can't swallow the whole pool.
It's the same log-based logic behind the skill score itself, tuned so the long tail of builders is worth having in the room.
A 100k-star skill earns roughly 3.5× a 1-star skill — not 100,000×. Strong compression, a real floor, capped at the top.
